Gizem Kalkavan

She graduated from the Faculty of Law at Kadir Has University in Istanbul in 2008 on a full scholarship, ranking third in her graduating class.

She completed her legal internship at Birsel Law Office in Istanbul between 2009 and 2010. In 2010, she further expanded her international legal experience through an internship at Moscardó & Stampa Abogados, a law firm affiliated with the Madrid Bar Association in Spain. During this period, she gained practical exposure to international legal practice, comparative legal systems, and cross-border transactions.

Following her return to Türkiye, she joined Zorlu Holding as In-House Legal Counsel, where she advised on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including corporate governance, commercial transactions, contract management, and general legal compliance. She subsequently established her own law practice, providing strategic legal counsel and dispute resolution services to both domestic and international clients across various sectors.

Since 2024, she has been serving as a Managing Partner at Momento Legal.

Her practice primarily focuses on corporate and commercial law, employment law, contract law, and corporate legal advisory services. She regularly advises domestic and international clients on day-to-day corporate legal matters, corporate structuring and governance, the drafting, review, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements, mergers and acquisitions, employment-related disputes, commercial litigation, and mediation proceedings.

She has extensive experience in providing practical, business-oriented legal solutions tailored to the commercial objectives of her clients. Her practice includes representing companies throughout all stages of commercial transactions and disputes, while delivering comprehensive legal support in both contentious and non-contentious matters.

She is fluent in English and provides legal services in both Turkish and English. She regularly assists international clients in cross-border matters and actively participates in the preparation, review, and negotiation of bilingual legal documentation and transactional agreements.
