Vito Alvaro Lopez

Álvaro López Gómez is an attorney who graduated from Universidad de Medellín. Following his undergraduate studies, he obtained a Master's in Business Law (MBL) from Freie Universität Berlin, Germany, with a focus on international business, corporate competition, and regulatory law in the energy and telecommunications sectors within the European Union. He subsequently completed a Graduate Specialization in Administrative Law at Universidad de Medellín and is certified as an extrajudicial conciliator in law by the Personería de Medellín.

He is a founding partner of López & Posada Asesorías Juridicas S.A.S., a firm through which he provides ongoing legal counsel to companies and individuals in commercial, administrative, and contractual matters, including the preparation of legal claims, legal opinions, formal petitions, and private agreements.

Álvaro López Gómez has advised both public and private entities on government procurement and public contracting, having supported the execution, supervision, and liquidation stages of contracts and agreements for the Mayor's Office of Medellín, as well as the review of commercial, private, and public law contracts and the structuring of public and private tender processes for Corporación Parque Arví. He has also provided legal support in nationwide public merit-based selection processes, handling claims, judicial actions, and communications with various government authorities.

Fluent in English and proficient in German, Álvaro López Gómez continues to provide legal counsel and advisory services in the areas of commercial, administrative, contractual, and regulatory law.
